Bloor Homes Ltd
Bloor Homes is currently responsible for ALL problems and issues on The Dovecote.

Soha Housing Ltd
Soha looks after about a quarter of the properties on The Dovecote. They offer properties for rental and for shared ownership.
Soha offers its own management services to its residents. A list of the primary ways to contact Soha are below.
If you want to report a problem or issue to Soha that may affect other residents on The Dovecote, it would be helpful if you could also cc the RA in any communications, so that the RA can keep track of issues that may affect other residents.

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC)
OCC will eventually adopt the roads and street lights on The Dovecote, taking over responsibility from Bloor Homes Ltd. This includes the gullies and drain covers that are located on the streets. However, adoption has not taken place yet, so currently OCC is NOT responsible for any problems or issues on The Dovecote. Any problem or issue needs to be reported to Bloor Homes Ltd.

Vale of White Horse District Council (VWHDC)
VWHDC is not responsible for anything on The Dovecote, so it’s unlikely that you will need to report any problems or issues to them. However, they do play a critical role in managing the handover of The Dovecote from Bloor Homes Ltd to the Management Company.

Dovecote (Drayton) Management Company Ltd (MC)
The MC will eventually take on responsibility for the Public Open Space (POS) located on The Dovecote. This will happen after handover from Bloor Homes is completed. However, handover hasn’t happened as yet, so the MC is not currently responsible for anything on The Dovecote. The only reason you might want to contact the MC is if you are buying, selling or remortgaging your property.
Bloor Homes is responsible for the MC, so you should contact Bloor Homes. However, the likelihood is that they will pass you over to FirstPort, since Bloor Homes has offloaded responsibility for running the MC to FirstPort.
Thames Water Utilities Ltd
Thames Water provides fresh water and waste water services to The Dovecote. You are therefore likely to have a personal account with them and pay them every month for these services.
Thames Water will eventually adopt the fresh water and sewage pipework, together with the pumping station, taking over responsibility from Bloor Homes Ltd. However, adoption has not taken place yet, so currently Thames Water is NOT responsible for any problems or issues with the pipework or pumping station on The Dovecote. Any problems or issues need to be reported to Bloor Homes.

FirstPort Ltd
FirstPort Ltd is nominally responsible for the day to day running of the MC (even though the MC doesn’t have any responsibilities just yet). Bloor Homes awarded this role to Chamonix Estates (subsequently taken over by FirstPort) back in 2017.
You are likely to have an account with FirstPort (even though you don’t need one). FirstPort issue service charges and will send you a statement of your account every year. Remember that you can claim back any service charges imposed by FirstPort from Bloor Homes.
If you have a problem or issue relating to The Dovecote, please do NOT report it to FirstPort! You need to report it to Bloor Homes.
You may end up having to liaise with FirstPort if you are buying, selling or remortgaging your property. Beware of the sky high fees that FirstPort charges for anything property related. It’s the way they make their money…
