We represent the residents of a lovely development, located in the heart of south Oxfordshire. The Dovecote comprises 140 homes in the little village of Drayton, due south of Abingdon.

Construction of this development started in 2018 by Bloor Homes Ltd and incorporates a large area of Public Open Space (POS). We are currently in the final stages of handover and hope that the POS will be handed over to the Dovecote (Drayton) Management Company at some point in 2024.

The local council that is overseeing the handover and will ultimately sign off the development is Vale of White Horse District Council (VWHDC). The residents are working closely with VWHDC to ensure that the development is completed in line with the original planning application.

In support of the completion of the development, in preparation for the handover to the Management Company and to generally protect the interests of the residents, The Dovecote Residents’ Association (TDRA) was formed in 2020. This website is currently being used to reflect the activities of TDRA.

In due course, we expect this website will become the home of the Management Company.
